This is a specialized field focused on the restoration and replacement of damaged or missing teeth and other oral structures thus helping to improve chewing ability, restore aesthetics, and prevent further dental problems.

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that is placed over a damaged or decayed tooth to restore its shape, size, strength, and appearance. Dental crowns are commonly used to protect weak teeth from breaking, restore broken or severely decayed teeth, cover dental implants, support dental bridges, or improve the appearance of misshapen or discoloured teeth.

They  can be made from various materials including all ceramic, porcelain fused to metal and all metal. Each of the crowns has its advantages and disadvantages and at Shubhakara Dental Clinic, we will help you make the correct choice.

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a fixed dental restoration used to replace one or more missing teeth. It consists of one or more artificial teeth (pontics) anchored in place by adjacent natural teeth or dental implants.

Dentures

Dentures are removable prosthetic devices used to replace missing teeth and surrounding tissue. They come in various types, including complete  dentures and partial dentures.

Complete dentures are given when all the teeth are missing and partial dentures when few teeth are missing.
